Great Gatsby Roaring 20's Halloween Party

For our Adult Halloween Night, my husband and I went to a Prohibition Party at The 10th Mountain Whiskey Distillery (check out their awesome video below that shows the entire crew) in Gypsum, Colorado with a group of friends.  The whiskey flowed, the jazz band swooned and we threw our chips down on the roulette table. The night was amazing and unlike any Halloween Party we have been to before.  Everyone was decked out in Roaring 20s attire head to toe.  The style of this era is something to be inspired, all of the women looked gorgeous in the beaded and tasseled frocks and the men looked dashing in their 3 piece suits.

My Roaring 20's Prohibition Makeup Look - This era was about porcelain skin, smokey eye and a bold lip.  1.) Choose a foundation 2 shades lighter than your normal color.  2.) For the eyes, blend shades of gray and black in your crease, liquid liner and some falsies 3.) Pop of color on the cheek, a blue-pink tone will do the trick!  4.)  Matte Red lips

Fun Halloween Makeup Ideas

Since my littles are not so little anymore, they love to see me in a spookier look.  So I decided to scare the lil’ monsters at their halloween class party!  This make-up took about 20 minutes to do.  Throw on your black motto jacket, black denim, beanie and some make-up and you’ve got the look!

Meow!

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me somthing good to eat.  Halloween night is always chilly in the mountains, so I like to be warm as we chase around our wild trick or treaters or if we share a libation or two, with some neighbors along the way.  This being our 7th day of celebration, I wanted to throw together a look that was super easy and warm.  I rummaged through our costume box, and grabbed Stella Kate's black cat accessories from her costume last year, paired it with my favorite Zac Posen jacket and some easy kitty make-up and voilá!  Feelin' Frisky Feline.
