3 EASY POST-GYM HAIRSTYLES

KERASTE V.I.P WITH BLISS HAIR STUDIOS

Want to know a secret?  I only wash my hair 2 x per week, shhhh... don't tell anyone!
For real though, I can get away with it for 2 reasons; 1). I have thick hair and 2). Kerastase V.I.P.  Everyday after the gym I throw my hair up in a bun and take a shower.  I then spray Kerastase V.I.P onto the crown of my head and blow dry for a few minutes.  This product absorbs any moisture and leaves my hair smelling delish.  My hair takes a long time to style so I can olny do it a few times per week.  On the other days I rely on my post-gym looks; TopKnot, Low Ponytail and Loose Braid with a Hat.  Get your hair from sweat to street in less than 2 mintues!

Oh topknot how I love thee....  this hairstyle has been one of my biggest go-to hair styles for-evah because it's super quick, requires only one elastic band, and can look good for any occassion.  No brush or mirror is needed.  The perfect post-gym look!

How to:
  1. Start by prepping your hair.  Spray Kerastase V.I.P to roots and crown of head, work product in with your fingers.
  2. Flip head over and pull hair into a high ponytail.
  3. Take the ponytail and wrap it loosley around the base, pin it (I usually use 2 bobby pins and secure them to the elastic band).

"It's a topknot & double shot kinda morning."

Understated, effortless and polished.  This look is perfect for everyone, especially us busy moms, it takes me less than 2 minutes to slip my hair into a chic low ponytail.

How to:
  1. Start by prepping your hair.  Spray Kerastase V.I.P to roots and crown of head, work product in with your fingers.
  2. Part hair down the middle.  Smooth hair back to the base of your nape with a round brush.
  3. Secure the pony with an elastic.
  4. Pull a 1- inch section of hair half-way back through the elastic.

"Life status: currently holding it all together with one elastic band."

If you know me you know I love a good hat; trucker hat, beanie, or a flat brimmed fedora is what I love to rock.  Sure, I love the personal touch a hat can add to any outfit, but most importantly, I love that I can get away with not washing my hair for one more day.  Lazy or brilliant, you decide!

How to:
  1. Start by prepping your hair.  Spray Kerastase V.I.P to roots and crown of head, work product in with your fingers.
  2. Throw desired hat on.
  3. Pull hair back into a loose braid and voila!

"Bad hair day, ain't nobody got time for that!"
